We are different from other clubs here on dA in that we don't have members - you do not need to note us asking to join. Everyone is welcome to submit an entry to our monthly art contests - whether you are a digital, traditional or stock artist. And, your deviation does not have to be new.

theme and guest CSS designers
Each month we will host a contest with a different theme and with a coordinating journal CSS designed by one of our Guest CSS Designers. The guest designers have graciously donated exclusive CSS designs to us to use for the contest and to distribute the CSS as a prize to the winners of that particular contest!

divisions and number of entries
Each contest will have five divisions: beginner, intermediate, advanced, stock and non-competitive. Participants must decide which division they wish to enter - please do not ask us to decide for you. What level you feel you are at in your chosen genre/style is something we feel only you can decide.

Each participant will be allowed to enter only once per account. If you have an art account and a stock account you may submit one art entry and one stock entry from your respective accounts.

guest judges and voting
Each month we will feature a guest judge who will assist us in deciding the winner of each of the four divisions. We will choose the guest judge from the winners of the previous month's contest. And that month's guest CSS designer will also be invited to judge.

Each judge will select their top three choices from each division, except non-competitive (which of course, has no "winner"). First choice will earn three points, second choice earns two points and third choice earns one point. Whichever entry earns the most points in their division will be declared the winner!

what the winners get
The winners of the five divisions will have their entry posted to our gallery, they will receive exclusive access to our journal CSS for that month; and they have a chance of being selected as the guest judge for the next month's contest!

Simply note us with a link to your entry and tell us what division you are entering (only one entry per dA account). Please mention in the description of your deviation that it is an entry for the *Express--Yourself Halloween contest!
